Holy Moses- a cross stitch!

Yeah. I've got the bug again, lol. My husband works in a cubicle and he needed some decoration for it so, I've whipped him up this IT crowd piece that I got from the Sprite Stitch forums (thanks Osmosis!). Husband loves it. Husbands co-workers jealous of nerdy cross stitch. So, mission accomplished then!

I have also started working on next year's square for the quilt, Which is going to be Shadow of the Colossusy in nature. This is by far the most color changes I've ever had to do on a cross stitch having many parts of just 1 stitch of a color and a total of 90 colors. But hey, I'm workin' along at it slowly but surely =) I'm very excited to see how it all comes together in the end. Thanks Servotron at the Sprite Stitch forums for the pattern. I couldn't have done it without you! (I am noooo good at making patterns.)

On the reading front, I'm reading Mockingbird by Chuck Wendig (reading will likely occur at a much slower pace while I've got the stitching bug, lol) and it is absolutely hilarious. I frigging love Miriam <3<3<3
"Everyone always says they can taste something in wine (chocolate, pipe smoke, figs, grass clippings, the sweat off a nine-year-old Cuban boy who's been floating around the ocean for two weeks on a raft made of banana crates), but Miriam can only ever taste "angry grape.""
Back to it =D
Have a great weekend everyone!~
